February 2016 at the Bibliotaptap
In the Bibliotaptap (Library in a truck) program, February was marked by regular events conducted by facilitators on 7 parking sites and also activities with guests.
On February 4, on the occasion of the International Day Against Cancer, Sandra Marcelin, internal physician at the Justinian University Hospital, spoke on that subject at the Martissant site. Forty-six students from two school delegations, respectively Zephyr College and Jean Paul Céus School attended the talk.
The presentation of Dr. Marcellin focused primarily on prevention against this disease, she mentioned, among other good habits, a healthy diet and drinks to avoid at certain times of day.
After her presentation, the young people asked many questions, some even asked Ms. Marcelin to draw a parallel between cancer and AIDS. The talk began at 11:30 am and ended at 1pm, after question period.
On February 5, as every year, the hosts organized a creative mask workshop for children, 24 children from Baillergeau took part.
On Thursday, February 18, a new activity, "Story time", was launched on the site of Martissant, with a small delegation of children 3 to 5 years old.There were 28, accompanied by the head of the small children's section of the Zephyr School and two professors.
This last activity is a great experience for the BTT team and Zephyr School, and discussions are underway with FOKAL to strengthen it.
