Art and Culture

Since 1999, FOKAL has supported talented artists in the arts and contributes to the strengthening of Haitian literary and artistic production through grants and the strengthening of local institutions (museums, foundations and schools).

FOKAL has initiated partnerships with UNESCO, Institut Français en Haiti, Fondation Culture Creation, Africamérica, among others, to contribute to national and international exchanges. FOKAL is a partner of the Festival of Theater Quatre Chemins, a festive and federative moment of the contemporary Haitian theater which establishes spaces of meetings and free expression between the artists and the public.
